Carlos Rodríguez

Board Director

Carlos Rodriguez began his career at the Peugeot Group, before moving to the New Technologies department of Uralita, as Project Manager. Carlos has also worked for Procter & Gamble in Geneva in the marketing intelligence department. He was in charge of new product forecasting and the deployment of in-market sales tracking systems of major consumer brands. In addition, Carlos was responsible for managing cross-functional new products innovation. Carlos is a founding partner of the venture capital fund Milk Capital in Paris, where he was responsible for evaluating technology-based investments and the founder of Madrid Ventures, a tech accelerator for startups. Carlos is a member of the board of directors and CEO of CogniFit. He earned an Industrial Engineering Master Degree from the Polytechnic University Carlos III of Madrid, and the Grande Ecole INSA of Lyon, France.

Juan A. Beceiro Friedmann

Mr. Friedmann spent 28 years in the healthcare (HC) industry, of which 14 years were with GEHC in a number of Sales and Marketing leadership positions in EU. Former CMO & BD Director for South EU (2007-2014). Prior roles: Marketing Director Diagnostics Imaging Drugs, Product Mgr. Cardiac Imaging at Amersham Health, Sales Manager at Life Technologies (LT, former Gibco-BRL company).Strong strategic foundation acquired through 3 decades of Sales, Marketing & BD roles at GEHC, Amersham and LT. He grew GEHC business by Alliances & new GTM plans,in particular GE’s MS by 13pts and won a public tender of $50m, increasing top line with +8%. Juan Antonio supported EU projects for key New Product Innovations, and x-industry partnerships to open up new sales channels for GE. And re-positioned several products to increase MS, too.Co-founded 37Celsius Capital Partners LLC, a digital health fund, is serving to grow TeleMedCare LLC, founded a Sport Clinic in Madrid and helped Boston Sci. new solutions in EU. He served on the EU Academic Innovation Programs, and in the Disease Initiatives EU Working Group at GE. Member of the Innovation Committee of IDIS (Spanish Private HC Association), and of the Innovation Committee of the Spanish Medtech Trade Association (Fenin). He received a Master degree in Marketing (ESIC), Master degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management (EADA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (UAB) Barcelona. Prof. Dr. Shlomo Breznitz

Professor of psychology and former president of the University of Haifa

Renowned cognitive psychologist, Professor Shlomo Breznitz has been engaged as visiting professor by numerous leading institutions including the University of California at Berkeley, Stanford University, London School of Economics, and the US Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health. Author of seven books and many scientific articles, Prof. Breznitz is founding director of the Center for the Study of Psychological Stress at the University of Haifa, where he also served as Lady Davis Professor of Psychology, Rector, and University President. He is currently one of the members of CogniFit's board of directors.

Nathanael Eisenberg

Entrepreneur & Investor

Mr. Eisenberg started his career in banking at Schroders in Geneva before working as a financial analyst in the Trading Room of the Union Bancaire Privé. Mr. Eisenberg then moved out of the banking industry and worked for the IT Consulting firm Cap Gemini in their Telecommunication group in London. He then transferred to Paris to assist in the management of a Publishing Group before being recruited in the European headquarters of Procter and Gamble in Geneva where he held marketing positions managing a portfolio of brands. Mr. Eisenberg then went with P&G to Madrid to oversee the launch of a key Home Care initiative in the Iberian market. After this commercial and marketing experience, Mr. Eisenberg went to Paris and founded with a group of partners Milk Capital, a Venture Capital fund specializing in micro to mid-sized investments in sectors ranging for telecommunication and internet technology. He then took over CogniFit as CEO and finally was elected Chairman in January 2014. Mr. Eisenberg is also the founder & CEO of Bayrock. Nathanael Eisenberg is graduated from the HEC Lausanne with a Master of Management and Business Administration.

Prof. Josep Brugada Terradellas

MD, PhD, FESC is a Cardiologist, Specialist in Biology and Sport Medicine and MBA Management in Health Services.

Prof Brugada is a Senior Consultant at the Hospital Clínic, Barcelona and Head of the Arrhythmia Section at the Pediatric Hospital Sant Joan de Déu and Head of the Arrhythmia Unit of the Clínica Quirón Palmaplanas and Clínica Rotger in Palma de Mallorca and Clínica Girona in Girona. Consultant in Clínica Teknon, Barcelona. Past President of the European Heart Rhythm Association. He has published more than 500 original papers in the most relevant international journals, with an H index of 83 and more than 25.000 citations. Prof. Brugada held also the post of Deputy Editor of the European Journal of Cardiology. He is member of several scientific societies and is Professor of Cardiology at the University of Barcelona since 1998. He discovered, treated and found the genetic cause of a rare syndrome causing Sudden Death, which is known in the scientific literature as “Brugada Syndrome”. He is Doctor Honoris Causa by several Universities around the world and he has received multiple Prices and Awards including the Fritz-Acker Award of the German Society of Cardiology, the Josep Trueta Award of the Catalan Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Rey Jaime I Award in clinical medicine.

Tommy Sagroun

Chief Financial Officer

Tommy Sagroun started his career in consulting and financial services in Paris, France. He spent several years at Deloitte where he worked in M&A and auditing for listed and non-listed companies. Leveraging his consulting and coding knowledge, he designed and developed an audit software that became part of Deloitte France methodology. Tommy left Paris to join the New York branch of Barclays where he was responsible for business development in the biotechnology and health tech industries. Tommy joined CogniFit as Chief Product Officer (CPO) in May 2010 and became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in January 2014. He stepped down as CEO in April 2021 and remains active in the company as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), overseeing strategic partnerships and all financial aspects of the company. Tommy began his education in medicine and later switched to business, earning a Doctorate in Finance, Tax, and Accounting from the Académie de Paris, France.

Dr. Evelyn Shatil

Lead research

Dr. Evelyn Shatil has served as Head of Cognitive Science at CogniFit for the past five years. In this capacity she established and directs CogniFit's scientific research program which includes a large and growing number of research collaborations in the US, Canada, Europe and Israel. She is also a senior researcher at the Department of Psychology and the Center for Psychobiological Research at the Max Stern Academic College of Emek Yezreel, Israel. Prior to joining CogniFit, Dr. Shatil founded YAHEL, the University of Haifa's Center for Learning Disabled Students, and served as its Scientific and Clinical Director for six years. Her research interests are learning disabilities, brain plasticity, and driving. She studies cognitive factors in early-age learning disabilities; training-induced plasticity in children with developmental disabilities and in neurologically impaired people. She also investigates the cognitive characteristics of, and cognitive interventions for, at-risk and accident-prone drivers. Dr. Shatil's PH.D., from the University of Haifa dealt with cognitive modularity in information processing.
