One cognitive infrastructure. Many national priorities.

CogniFit proposes that Brazil build one integrated cognitive health and human performance infrastructure, combining scientifically grounded assessment, personalized training, longitudinal monitoring and Brazilian-led research. Each ministry would adopt specialized modules on that shared foundation instead of buying a separate system for each program.

application sectors that run from childhood to older adulthood.

8

proposed research workstreams for Brazilian norms, validation and cognitive AI.

Cognitive assessment, brain-health programs, educational interventions, workforce development and cognitive research are often handled through separate technologies and initiatives.

Brazil can explore a coordinated approach. One adaptable technology foundation would serve different public institutions and support national scientific development.

The value is not any single cognitive test or brain-training game. It is the combination of assessment, personalized intervention, monitoring, research and institutional integration within one ecosystem.

  • Integrated capabilities

A common technology ecosystem for assessment, training, monitoring and research.

  • Scalable deployment

Existing software infrastructure that can be integrated into institutional workflows.

  • Brazilian innovation

Adaptation, localization, scientific validation and dedicated technology development.

  • Long-term value

An extensible national capability rather than isolated applications.

Built on science. Ready for institutional scale.

CogniFit provides digital cognitive assessment and personalized cognitive training for individuals, families, healthcare professionals, researchers, educators and organizations. Brazil would build on what already exists and what has already been studied.

Evidence you can examine, study by study

CogniFit keeps a public catalogue of published research on its technology. It covers healthy aging, cognitive assessment, clinical populations, education and computerized cognitive training. The study designs include randomized studies, validation studies, observational research, reviews and other scholarly work, carried out with an international network of scientific collaborators.3

This experience across many populations and applications is a base for further independent evaluation, including in Brazil.

The evidence base includes studies with varying methodologies and findings. Clinical and institutional benefits must be evaluated for each intended application and target population.

A practical path from strategic vision to national scale

Four phases, from the first conversation to a Brazilian innovation ecosystem. The sequence is indicative until it is planned jointly. No dates are set.

  1. Strategic design and validation

Agree on what to achieve, where to start and how to judge it.

    Activities and deliverables
    • Bring institutional stakeholders together
    • Define program objectives
    • Select initial use cases
    • Establish scientific governance
    • Conduct a regulatory review
    • Define the technology architecture
    • Set privacy and data-management requirements
    • Design pilot protocols
    • Define commercial scope and investment framework

Deliverables: joint strategy, technical architecture, pilot plan, evaluation framework, regulatory assessment, preliminary financial model.

  2. Targeted pilot programs

Controlled pilots in healthcare, education, workforce development and one specialized case, such as professional drivers or healthy aging.

    Activities and deliverables
    • Launch controlled pilots
    • Train participating professionals
    • Collect valid baseline measures
    • Monitor participation
    • Assess feasibility and user experience
    • Evaluate pre-specified outcomes

Deliverables: pilot evaluation, operational lessons, first experience of institutional integration, evidence for scaling decisions.

  3. Progressive national expansion

Scale only what the pilots have shown works.

    Activities and deliverables
    • Expand validated programs
    • Onboard more institutions
    • Improve localization
    • Strengthen support systems
    • Bring in more ministries
    • Put reporting and governance frameworks in place

Deliverables: a repeatable deployment model, an institutional training framework, wider program coverage, operational governance that scales.

  4. Brazilian innovation ecosystem

Develop capabilities designed in and for Brazil.

    Activities and deliverables
    • Develop Brazil-specific research capabilities
    • Advance locally validated assessments
    • Build dedicated technology modules
    • Support AI innovation
    • Continue national research programs
    • Evolve the platform according to demonstrated needs

Deliverables: new locally developed capabilities, scientific outputs, a mature innovation partnership, a long-term technology roadmap.

Success defined by measurable outcomes

Each dimension would get indicators agreed before the pilots start. None of these outcomes is assumed in advance.

Access

Individuals reached, participating institutions, regional reach, demographic coverage, digital inclusion.

Engagement

Enrollment, active users, completion, frequency of participation, retention.

Cognitive outcomes

Validated cognitive assessment measures, longitudinal change, study endpoints for each intervention, psychometric reliability, results for each population.

Institutional outcomes

Educational program endpoints, professional training indicators, implementation quality, healthcare workflow measures, user and professional satisfaction.

Economic value

Cost per participant, cost per completed program, administrative effort, cost-effectiveness, financial value assessed independently.

A national initiative should be measured not only by the technology it deploys, but by the outcomes it can demonstrate.

Why an integrated technology partner matters

Buying separate assessment, training, monitoring and research systems for each program fragments data and effort. CogniFit lets Brazil combine existing cognitive technology with a coordinated national innovation program, so it does not have to build an independent cognitive system for each public-sector application.

  • A coherent platform architecture
  • Existing proprietary technology components
  • Assessment and training integrated with each other
  • Consistent cognitive data models
  • Longitudinal measurement
  • International scientific experience
  • Applications for many institutions
  • Shared infrastructure and integration interfaces
  • Research opportunities across sectors
  • A defined route toward local technology development

In a technical evaluation, product integration and scientific expertise may carry weight. They do not rule out competition, and other providers can be assessed on the same criteria.

Procurement integrity. Any public-sector partnership, contractual structure or procurement procedure would be subject to applicable Brazilian law, independent technical and legal review, and the required approvals. This page does not suggest that direct procurement is automatically permitted.5

Proposed Brazilian R&D partnershipProposed programNot assessedNot assessedNot assessedNot assessed

CogniFit's strategic proposition is the integration of complementary cognitive technologies within one adaptable platform, backed by its scientific foundation and the potential for dedicated Brazilian innovation.

Designed for scientific credibility and responsible deployment

Four commitments would frame every phase, in both models.

A precise U.S. device record

CAB PRO, CogniFit's professional assessment battery, has a documented FDA device listing under the Class II product code PTY, "computerized cognitive assessment aid, exempt".1 This is not FDA approval, and it does not extend to the rest of the platform.

A defined regulatory workstream for Brazil

The partnership would assess the applicable Brazilian regulatory requirements and set a pathway toward ANVISA regularization for any software function classified as a medical device, under RDC nº 657/2022.4 Wellness software and medical-device software can be treated differently depending on intended use. CogniFit does not claim ANVISA registration today.

Brazilian data protection and governance

Designed under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Lei nº 13.709/2018):6

  • Personal data protection
  • Sensitive health data
  • Protection of children's data
  • Defined processing roles
  • An appropriate legal basis
  • Data security
  • Access controls
  • Data governance
  • Retention and deletion
  • Cross-border transfers where applicable

Where data is stored would be set in each project's architecture and contract.

Responsible use

  • Human professional oversight
  • Appropriate clinical interpretation
  • Scientific validation
  • Transparent AI systems
  • Safeguards for research participants
  • Limits on automated employment and other high-stakes decisions
  • Respect for each device's intended use

CogniFit's professional tools support cognitive assessment and monitoring. They never replace clinical judgment, an evaluation or a diagnosis.

Questions decision-makers ask

What makes CogniFit different from individual assessment or training providers?

CogniFit combines cognitive assessment, personalized training, longitudinal monitoring, professional tools, research infrastructure and integration options in one ecosystem. Institutions can share one foundation instead of buying separate systems for each program. See CogniFit's cognitive assessments for the existing assessment offering.

Is CogniFit scientifically validated?

CogniFit keeps a public catalogue of published research. The studies use different designs, including randomized, validation and observational studies and reviews, and they report varying findings. No single label covers every use: benefits must be evaluated for each application and each population. Local validation in Brazil is part of the proposal.

Is CogniFit FDA approved?

No. CAB PRO, CogniFit's professional cognitive assessment battery, has a documented FDA device listing and falls under the Class II exempt product code PTY, computerized cognitive assessment aid. That is not FDA approval, and it does not apply to the whole platform, the training exercises or any future Brazilian product.

Can CogniFit treat Alzheimer's disease, depression or autism?

No. CogniFit does not diagnose or treat any condition on its own. The applications proposed for specific conditions concern assessment support for professionals, general cognitive wellness, or ethically approved research on related cognitive functions.

Does the platform already have ANVISA registration?

CogniFit does not claim any ANVISA registration. The partnership would include a regulatory assessment and, for any software function classified as a medical device, a pathway toward ANVISA regularization under RDC nº 657/2022.

How would CogniFit integrate with Brazilian institutions?

Through existing APIs and SDKs, Portuguese localization and adaptation to approved government digital services. Each integration needs its own technical and security evaluation. Healthcare teams can see the existing CogniFit platform for healthcare professionals.

What is the difference between national deployment and CogniFit Brazil?

Option A deploys and adapts the existing platform through licensing and implementation, with defined collaborative studies. Option B adds significant dedicated development, a long-term Brazilian R&D program and national data governance built into the architecture. Pre-existing and new intellectual property are clearly separated.

How would Brazilian citizens' data be protected?

Through a project-specific data architecture designed under the LGPD. It would cover purpose limitation, an appropriate legal basis, role-based access, auditing, retention and deletion rules, special protection for minors and health data, and governed cross-border transfers where applicable.

How would Brazil's universities and researchers take part?

Through the proposed research and innovation program: local validation studies, Brazilian reference norms, collaborative projects, joint publications and researcher training. Every study would follow ethics approval and consent requirements.

How would the program's effectiveness be measured?

Baseline measures and pre-specified outcomes in each pilot protocol, independent evaluation where possible, and expansion only of programs that demonstrate value on access, engagement, cognitive, institutional and economic indicators.
