Technical Specifications

The WOM-REST Recognition Test is based on the classic tests of Symbol search (WAIS) (Wechsler, 1997), Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) (Heaton, 1981) and Raven's progressive arrays test (Raven, 1936). It requires the user to memorize the stimuli presented and then recognize from among the distractors which were the original stimuli.

  • Evaluated cognitive abilities:Spatial perception, visual scanning, recognition, non-verbal memory, working memory, processing speed, response time.
  • Time allowed:Between approximately 60 and 80 seconds.
  • Areas of application:Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, General Medicine and Research.
  • Format:Online Computerized Test (PCs, cell phones, and tablets).
  • Objective:Identify which group of three figures is identical to the model shown.
  • Instructions:At the beginning of the turn, a trio of figures is displayed, which the user must memorize. The trio of figures is then removed from the screen and four trios of figures are displayed, but only one of them is identical to the one previously shown. The user will have to identify which of the options is identical to the original trio.
